now, joining me now to talk about the mistrial in this case is prince georges county state's attorney angela alsobrocks. thank you for joining us tonight. >> thank you. >> and can you talk about the mistrial. >>> there was testimony that referenced more than one home invasion. the judge said we were to talk about only one and there were four burglaries we were able to discuss. one of the witnesses in the case, i talked about, more than one home invasion and the judge decided it was probably additional and could be to the jury and decided a mistrial was appropriate. we, of course, respect the court'ssition and -- decision and we'll be ready to retry the case in october. >> i am sure this is tough for the families. they were sitting in the courtroom and to he is. how are they taking it? >> it's disappointing and that i have be about through an ordeal i can only try to imagine. they were anxious to bring justice and they're disappointed, but we have talked to them and everybody is ready to g. we'll do justice for the family and be back in october. >> and jason scott is convicted of 100 years. >
